Magnetic Particle Imaging
Phantech offers a multi-purpose phantom for magnetic particle imaging (MPI) that is used to characterize the resolution, signal-to-noise (SNR) and linearity (concentration gradient) of a superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticle (SPION) with a specific magnetic particle imaging (MPI) system. It is critical that MPI phantoms do not contain any metal contaminants that are present in most plastics in order to measure the true resolution, SNR and linearity of a SPION and MPI system. Phantech phantoms have been tested and confirmed to be pure and contaminant free offering the highest accuracy measurements.
