Available sizes
While we currently offer this phantom in a single standard size with an outer diameter of 24 mm, we are able to customize this to your needs as well. Please see the Customization section below for more details. Customization
We can customize our MRI distortion phantoms to your specific needs. Customization options include overall length and width of the chamber, as well as the grid pattern and dimensions. For example, if you want a shorter, longer, wider, or thinner chamber, we can match your dimensions. For the grid, we can modify the individual square sizes, the wall thickness, and the overall grid dimensions.

INNOVATIVE DESIGN
Phantech’s Distortion Phantom is designed to test the distortion of the image at the boundaries of the field of view. By imaging a uniform grid and viewing how the grid distorts, the user can get an idea of the edge distortion. Our phantom features a fillable chamber with a grid insert that is removable for cleaning. The lid features a press-fit design for easy operation, with two separate o-rings to ensure a water-tight seal during operation. The top off screw in the center of the lid allows you to bulk fill the chamber, seal the phantom and then top off the chamber, ensuring a quality fill with minimal bubbles. Our standard size is detailed in the schematics below:
